Unusually this year, the Clan Chattan and the Clan Macpherson Annual Gatherings run consecutively rather than concurrently, and as a result members of the Clan Chattan can join the Clan Macpherson’s annual celebrations and would be welcomed if they wished to do so.
They start on Friday 1 August 2025 with a banquet and ball in the Duke of Gordon Hotel in Kingussie. For aficionados of James Macpherson of Ossian fame, there is to be a talk on him between 13:30 and 14:45 in the afternoon by Jim and Marie Macpherson.

On Saturday 2 August 2025, come and join the Clan Macpherson march at 13.45 into the Newtonmore Highland Games, thereafter enjoy the Games, admire the Clan Macpherson Museum and join in our ceilidh at the Duke of Gordon Hotel in the evening.
Church and a picnic follow on Sunday.
