The Clan Phail – The History of a People

The object of this book is to give a brief history of an ancient Scottish people, who over the ages of many historical writers have been ignored or simply forgotten. They formed part of the great Clan Chattan from well before the eleventh century. Their history, I believe, derives from the Pictish people of old Scotland when it was referred to as ‘ North Britain’ or Alban, and formed the foundations, among others, of the Highlanders –  John E Mackfall.
